John Grove helps organizations diagnose why important work is not producing the results they need—and build the systems that make reliable performance possible.

John’s experience spans education administration, professional associations, and multisite nonprofit organizations. He began his career as a teacher and school administrator before moving into enterprise workforce learning, performance management, competency architecture, onboarding, manager enablement, and HR technology implementation.

He founded Grove Consulting to help organizations solve performance problems without defaulting prematurely to training. Using the Root-to-Result Method™, John traces a key result to the work that contributes to it, identifies the root conditions affecting performance, and aligns the smallest set of system changes needed to improve it.
